Sony: Worth Every Penny
Author: PC-Buyer
I frequently hear people talking about Sony products being expensive. I’ll admit, the price-point is a little higher on a Sony product, but at the same time you’re buying a solid, durable product with some of the best research and development in the world behind it. There’s no point in wasting time with cheap knock-offs, especially when it comes to something as important as a laptop. The Sony Vaio notebook PC has long been an industry leader in compact, powerful portable computing solutions. All of the Sony quality you know and love is present, from the LCD screen to the on/off switch and more.
Don’t get railroaded into a generic laptop just because it’s cheap. Why? Because it’s cheap! Has-beens, never-weres and the litany of electronics of questionable quality provide little more than a disposable, temporary solution for your needs. Sony designs their products to last for years. Everything I’ve ever owned from Sony has lasted an incredible amount of time versus other electronics. Dollar for dollar you get the most for your money with a Sony.
Laptops on Campus: They’re Everywhere

As a recent college graduate, I’ve come to rely on my computer for more than just social networking and online games. In my last few semesters at school, I worked on my senior thesis practically everywhere I went. Whether I was sitting outside a campus café or curled up on my couch, I took my Sony Vaio laptop everywhere. Laptops are so ubiquitous on college campuses these days that simply walking into a lecture hall can be a jarring experience for older people.
Many students use word processing software to take quick, detailed notes in a legible fashion. Most campuses are going wireless as well, so students have access to a variety of new study materials beyond their stuffy old textbooks, which might become outdated in a matter of years. To put it bluntly, a student without a laptop computer is sacrificing a serious potential advantage. When you’re preparing to enter a congested job market, every little edge counts.
Why Go for a Sorny when You Can Get a Sony…

Sony is a brand that’s long been synonymous high quality and long standing products. Whether it’s a television, cell phone, DVD player or rice cooker, Sony’s pretty much has the copyright on electronics that seldom break. With that in mind, a computer is something that people don’t want to replace every year and for that reason, getting a Sony VAIO would be choice.
The VAIO laptop is one of the most durable portable computers out on the market and mine has taken its share of beatings and it’s still running. It’s now seven years later and the VAIO is still kicking. I might consider getting a new laptop, but it will definitely be a VAIO.
