The Best Laptops for World of Warcraft
Author: PC-Buyer
World of Warcraft (also known as WoW), now one of the most popular games of all time with over 11 million users, started out as a dark horse against the EverQuest II (also known as EQ II) titan. Before WoW was ever conceived, the original EverQuest became the first MMO to appeal to such a wide range of gamers, and was a huge success. When EQ II was released, gamers and critics thought that its graphical capabilities combined with an established user base would make it the next big MMO. However, EQ II suffered from dozens of problems, including outlandish hardware requirements. When EQ II was released, its graphics were so advanced that no computer in current existence was capable of viewing the game at maximum graphical settings. WoW, on the opposite end of the spectrum, could be run well on computers that were five years old, needing just a basic 32 MB video card and 512 RAM to run at minimum settings; EQ II couldn’t even run a title screen on a computer with similar specifications.
For this reason, WoW became the next generation MMO, drawing fans from Diablo II, Warcraft III, and a large portion of the EQ user base as well. WoW has continued to be accessible to a wide range of gamers, even as it has released newer expansions with improved graphics. Even still, the best laptops to run WoW on are MSI laptops. These laptops have an excellent video card and lots of RAM, which is what WoW needs. In addition, MSI laptops are so powerful that it’s possible to use them for next generation games as well.
Customization with Dell PCs

Whether a desktop or a laptop computer, purchasing a Dell provides the customer with a computer customized to their needs. Dell is renowned for their customer service, and also for allowing their customers to build their own computer with the specifications needed to achieve their goals. Unlike computers from other manufacturers, Dell computers don’t come soiled with bloatware. For people who might not know, bloatware is all the programs software companies pay other manufacturers to pre-install on their computers. These programs are unneeded, and most are just selling another service. Purchasing a Dell ensures there are no random programs installed on the computer.
When it comes to Dell computers, it’s hard to go wrong. However, for desktop users, the Dell Small Business series of computers make excellent office computers. Amongst laptops, the Dell Latitude laptop series is one of the best, providing versatility and enough power to do it all.
The Innovation of Apple

Prior to the 2000s, Apple computers were often viewed as more for schools and educational institutions than personal use. However, the public’s perception of Apple has come along way in just a short period of time, and now Apple desktop and laptop computers are regarded as some of the best available. Apple coined their 21st century innovation with the iPod, which has served as a launching pad for much of Apple’s recent success in the industry. With all their technologies being improved upon at a rampant pace, Apple has become quite the force in the industry. In fact, most other manufacturers of media players, cell phones, and even computers are now just doing their best to keep up with Apple, rather than making attempts to outdo the technological giant.
Apple has released dozens of innovative products in the last few years including the iPod, iPod Touch, iPhone, as well as the Apple Desktop and Apple Macbook Pro. These technological marvels are regarded as being at the forefront of technology; a far cry from where Apple was even a decade ago.
