Over the years, Apple has carefully honed its public image. As a result, people associate Apple with certain traits – an eye for minimalist design, clean lines and a user-friendly sensibility. Rather than going toe-to-toe with PC manufacturers, Apple has fashioned itself an entirely unique niche. If the PC is all about raw performance, the Mac is now thought to be stylish and easy to use.
One need only look around a local coffee shop to see all of the Apple Macbook users, as designated by the glowing decal on the laptop’s casing. Graphic designers often consider Macs to be superior for their professional needs thanks to an intuitive system of shortcut buttons known as hot keys. For PC users, the conversion process isn’t always easy, but if you can get past the idea of only one mouse button, you’ll be well on your way.
